Silks 2 - Monday
Building off the foundations laid in Silks 1, each 90 minute class is designed to continue learning more complex moves to build strength, poise, flexibility, and stability. This class will focus more on putting all of the moves together to create an act. We will do our fair share of spins and drops in Silks 2 as well. Our vertical focus: Silks, Hammock, and sometimes Rope.
Pre-Reqs: You must be able to...
Straddle up on each side 2x with out coming down to rest
Do single and double foot knots with easeBe able to do 2 consecutive hip keys in the air (on each side)
Climb silks 3 times without touching the ground (any climb)
Knowledge of catchers, salto, & windmill wrapsHave a solid Straddle Climb
Comfortable w/ spotted Skin The Cats & Meat Hooks (on both sides)
