Teen Stretching (Pre-Contortion) - Wednesday
I call this series the circus and aerial MUST TAKE! This class will give you the tools you need to achieve maximum flexibility, gorgeous lines & how to stretch intelligently for floor and aerial work. Mary focuses on the technique of flexibility by combining passive flexibility (holding flexible positions assisted by floor, chair, blocks, etc.) and active flexibility (the ability to use your muscles to hold flexible positions unassisted). She will cover a vast range of flexibility training methods using the stretch itself rather than the trick so you can have that extra polished aerial look while in the air. These techniques are accessible and challenging to all levels.
